Well the Holiday rush is finally over and time to get back to normal day to day living. The Holiday season was great for all of us here and hope all of you had a wonderful Holiday also. We just want to take a moment to thank all of you that have helped our company be so successful in 2005 and look forward to making 2006 a better year then the year before. Having had such great responses to our pet photo contest we will be continuing them into 2006. Also we have started our own pet forum where people can talk about just about anything from pets to cooking to TV shows. Just a fun place to go to. Its new so we are looking for more members so if you have time stop on by and chat at Nicky's lounge or just say hi and introduce yourself and your pets.

About Our Products. We are trying to bring you unique products that are not available in your local pet stores. If you ever need something you can not find contact us we are always willing to help try to find products for our customers. For our friends outside of the US we are not shipping outside the US at this time until we find a better cost effective way for shipping. From pat experience we have found cost wise its to expensive for the customer and us. What we have done on many occasions is set people up with suppliers in their countries of the same products. If we don't have what you want we will always try to redirect you to the proper resource. Our mission has always been to make pets happy and have happy pet owners.

So What's Your Thoughts On The Legend Of Big Foot

For years I have been fascinated by stories you see and hear about Big foot or Sasquatch. I know years ago I used to go camping and always wondered about such things. Some of the video's I have seen do not seem to believable but yet urban legends seem to hold some credibility in my mind. As a reasonable person I tend to think their are so many things about this world we do not know. So if anyone has seen Bigfoot let us know we would love to hear from you. Life is full of mysteries and I guess this is one we just are not to sure of.

All About Rio Smart & Funny		Did you know that dogs really are not color blind. Its said they just do not see colors as well as we do.

Training Rio has really been a trying experience. He seems to break the mold when it comes to dogs. I don't know what his IQ is but I'm sure it is higher then mine. When I hear people say that dogs or animals are not intelligent I just have to snicker to myself. Rio having been an only pet or child up until he was 3 when Nicholas his brother arrived gave him a major intellectual advantage. The biggest misconception we feel that people have is that animals do not understand what we are saying to them. Rio's massive understanding of such a large vocabulary is absolutely amazing. He can distinguish from a pile of 25 toys each one by name. He knows specific rooms in the house and different responses. With his high intellectual level he is still such a warm and caring fellow. He is very keen on letting us know if something is wrong or if we are getting sick. I personally think he missed his calling he should be a doctor of some kind. Yet with all his intellect he can try your patience like anything else or anyone else in this world. The sad thing is you can never stay angry with him. When he does not listen which is always the same thing barking. He is the most verbal dog I have ever known. I send him to his room. No I don't drag him. We just say go to your room and he runs off up the stairs into his room. I loose it all the time when I go to check on him cause he just peaks hi head out the door seeing if Imp watching until I say ok you can come out then he runs out happily. On occasion he will sneak out before I say he can come out and when he knows he's caught he runs happily tail wagging into his room. This is why I say he is smart but funny. Even when he is being Disciplined he can crack you up. By: Riosmommy		Casanova Nick Nicholas our newest addition to the family is a lover among lovers. Being a 37lb dog he has determined his profession will be as a lap dog. Nicky has a unique personality when he arrived we thought he was lonely and sad and discovered his personality was just unique. He craves love and hugs and kisses all the time. He has a habit about tapping. he will sit next to you and just keep taping on your arms. Why he just wants to be loved and petted. He is my scholar. He studies things so well you can see electricity in the air from his brain working while he watches you. I think if he could chose a human profession not a doubt he would be a chef. At night time when we cook we put on a cooking show for him and explain how to make everything. Goes as far as explaining he needs to wash his paws before touching things. He watches so intently. So for Casanova Nick life is all about fine food and lots of lovin. By: Nickysmommy

Sometimes the most comforting feeling when your feeling sad and blue. Is having a little paw reaching out to you. Looking into the eyes, of the pet that you took home. Suddenly you feel better, knowing you are not alone.
The sound of Pitter Patter Paws is embedded in my heart.
	Things You Can Do To Help Pets Here at Pitter Patter Pawz its all about doing something for the pets. We believe ever animal is entitled to be pampered and loved. Yet their are millions of animals and pets that are not receiving even the basics for survival. It's up to all of us to make a difference. It's important to have pets spayed and neutered. If you are going to buy a pet find a reputable breeder and stamp out puppy mills. If you have ever seen the pictures of those puppy mills it would break your heart. Next if you notice stray any animal or pet abuse in your neighborhood don't be afraid to speak up. Contact the local authorities. No animal deserves to be left outside with no shelter and no fresh water or food. It's up to all of us to make a difference and to be aware of what is going on around us. If you have old towels and blankets donate them to your local animal shelters they are always in need. We make donations to several organizations that are shelters for animals and its the most rewarding part of our business. Knowing that we can add so comfort and fun into their lives. Another great thing to do is just donate your time to helping these animals. Their are so many organizations out their where you can meet great people and make some great friends with paws and tails. Every day we are made aware of some pets that need to be adopted so if you have room and the time adopt today. But remember a pet is for life and they will enrich your life in more ways then you will ever know. We hope one day all these loving pets find homes.
